Customer J. S. purchases four Challenger MT665B 240 hp tractors to haul manure and cut hay.

Note: Customer cut hay last year using Self-Propelled forage harvester outfitted with 26 ft mowers using an average of 15 gallons of fuel/hr.

    Farm Depot inspects tractors and records fuel usage and hour meter statistics (Challenger MT tractors have non-resettable fuel usage meters)

MT665B #1 3586 gallons in 615.7 hours = 5.82 gallons per hour  
MT665B #2 3164 gallons in 539.0 hours = 5.88 gallons per hour  
MT665B #3 1259 gallons in 172.3 hours = 7.31 gallons per hour  
MT665B #4 1167 gallons in 182.9 hours = 6.38 gallons per hour

Totals:
9176 gallons in 1509.9 hours = 6.07722  Avg gallons per hour
22635 gal used last year - 9176 gallons this year = 13459 gallons

Results: Half-way through second cutting customer has cut $54,000 of fuel expense (13459 gals X $4/gal) out of his operation using Challenger MT600 series Tractors!
